Bio: Governance and trust professional with 10+ years’ experience in fiduciary oversight, stakeholder engagement, and strategic advisory roles. She serves as a BASF South Africa Trust Trustee and Advisory Board Member for a Producer Responsibility Organisation (PRO), with expertise in compliance, financial oversight, and board-level decision-making.
Bio: Mr Kumarasen Govender is an external trustee and former BASF employee with a background in chemistry and business. He has broad experience in industry and is committed to supporting youth education in science and technology.
Bio: Biochemist and retired Wits University academic who served as Assistant Dean: Teaching and Learning. She has led key student access programmes and continues to lecture first-year students. Liz is a BASF Trust trustee, supporting students in Science and Engineering.
Bio: BASF Trust Administrator since 2023, responsible for governance, compliance, reporting, and beneficiary support. She is committed to integrity, confidentiality, and effective trust administration.
Bio: Akhona Zodidi Ntsele is an experienced attorney and Trustee of the BASF South Africa Trust, dedicated to advancing higher education opportunities and empowering young women.
Bio: Kevin Levey works for BASF and serves as a Trustee of the BASF South Africa Trust. The Trust funds bursaries for South African students in Chemistry, Science and Engineering, covering tuition, accommodation and a stipend, with a focus on advancing Black female students from disadvantaged backgrounds, reflecting BASF's long-standing investment in the country's STEM talent.
Bio: South African business leader with 20+ years’ experience in chemicals and mining. She is Head of Sales for BASF Mining Solutions and is recognised for strategic leadership and driving business growth.
